The pandemic is putting unprecedented pressure on our mental health. From children and families in isolation to older people living in fear of the virus, everyone’s mental health has been affected by coronavirus.
Local councils will be at the frontline of responding to their communities’ needs. Mental Health Challenge (Centre for Mental Health) hosted this webinar especially for council members to help them navigate what can be a daunting prospect. We shared ideas and examples of actions that can help to protect and promote mental health as well as supporting those who need help. We also shared the latest research and answered questions about how to support people’s mental health at this most difficult of times.
