Hart District Council

Stuart has been a district councillor since 2001 and as the cabinet member for Housing, Health and Wellbeing has been the District Champion for mental health since May 2017. Previously a trustee at Renew Counselling Stuart is currently working with Thrive-Worldwide who provide psychological health services for those involved with humanitarian work.

I am delighted to be the mental health champion. The District has a vital role to play in bringing together local agencies and groups so that the 1 in 4 of us who are affected by poor mental health are able to easily access the support and resources that are available.
